CLIMATE
Andros is the northernmost island of the Cyclades and the second biggest one following Naxos. It has a Mediterranean climate with mild winters and cool summers because of the August northern winds.

Getting There
BY BOAT
The port of Rafina in eastern Attica is connected with the port of Gavrio in Andros and the trip lasts about 2 hours. The island is also connected with the island of Tinos and from there with other Cycladic Islands like Syros, Mykonos, Paros and Naxos.
