4 months have passed since the first Cycladia Calling trip and the amazing moments we had in Santorini still echo in our minds and hearts.
To most of us, Santorini is the queen of the Cycladic islands, a place where the horizon meets the endless blue Aegean sea and the characteristic white stonewashed houses become one with the cliffs of the Caldera.
Besides this awe-inspiring scenery though, Santorini has much more to offer. Here are the best moments!…
Having a morning coffee at Sunrocks Hotel in Firostefani was the best way to start this experience.
Discovering one of the rooms specially reserved for us in Chromata Hotel in Imerovigli was just the icing on the cake! Blissful joy…
Relaxing under the strong summer sun or indulging into an infinity pool seems to be part of a fairytale.
A smiling face or a well-stylized dish?
We all savored the incredible gourmet delicacies prepared for us at Kirini Suites in Oia.
Of course we couldn’t miss the summer nightlife buzz…
Even though the next day some where feeling a little bit tipsy during the private yacht tour in Caldera! Ooops!
So a light cocktail relaxing at the loungers of La Maltese Estate Villa in Santorini
… and then a perfectly arranged dinner at San Antonio Caldera view hotel was all we needed to end a beautiful day.
A day at the museum of Thera.
Don’t be scared! The frescos and the sculptures kept in there don’t come to life at night! However, they are pure reminders of how Santorini used to be.
Wine cultivation is inextricably connected to the Santorinian culture though, so we
had an exquisite wine tasting experience at Zannos Melathron while pondering on the history of this prehistoric island.
Watching the sun go down from the Caldera is surely breathtaking even for those that claim to be antiromantics. The perfect ending to the first Cycladia Calling in Santorini.
Thank you all for making this trip a reality!
