The 10th Celebration for Volunteering opens its doors and awaits visitors on Saturday 17th September 2011 on Apostolou Pavlou Pedestrian Road, Thisio, Athens.
With the participation of 50 NGO’s and the valuable support of 9 organizations and the General Secretariat for Youth and the Municipality of Athens, this 10th Celebration of Volunteering will be open from 10am till 10pm with street performances, music and dance schemes and interactive games, ensuring a constructive and amusing experience right in the heart of Athens.
The aim of this event is to inform people about volunteering and present the notable and important work done through years by organizations mainly working with volunteer support.
Because volunteering means caring, participating and contributing!
