The summer is already gone, but the sunny, hot weather in Greece does not seem to pay attention to autumn coming. So, as a companion to this year’s autumn invasion, we have on our side various interesting autumn festivals throughout the country and Cycladia team is pretty sure they will amaze you!!
Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art
• The Festival of Performance, held within the wider “3rd Biennale of Contemporary Art”, will be featuring the popular French artist Orlal. 19/9-25/9.
• The “17th Athens International Film Festival opening nights» has already begun with film masterpieces throughout 3 historical cinemas in Athens. This year the festival will also host various tributes to artists that have marked worldwide filmography and literature, like the leading Japanese director Masamoura, the author Franz Kafka, many top movies of Scandinavian cinema, etc. You can enjoy it till 25/9.

• In order not to forget summer so quickly, the island of Mykonos still awaits us till the 21st of October with sounds of classical, jazz and Greek music by a variety of artists.
• November is not that near but the 52nd Thessaloniki Film Festival has already announced that it will keep us company from the 4th till the 13th of November. One of the most important, cultural events in the country in this charming city of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, which should not be missed!!
