Russian Bay or Russian Dockyard
A historic location
The Russian Bay is a historic location in Poros, where in 1834 the Russians built warehouses in order to supply the Russian ships that were helping Greece in the effort to gain its freedom from the Turks. Visitors may admire the ruins of this building and enjoy their swim in the transparent waters. There are also umbrellas and sunbeds, a little canteen and a pier ideal for plunges, whereas concerts and other cultural events are organized on summer nights.
