Ormos is located on the south eastern part of Andros, almost 37km from the port of Gavrio. The beach is sandy and pretty organized with showers and various other amenities. Swimming and windsurfing lessons can be attended here, so Mylos is a water sports' friendly beach. The name of the beach comes from an old windmill which stands right in the middle of its coast (Mylos means windmill in Greek). You will also find nearby various taverns and shops.
