This is the most famous and crowded place on the island, almost 10 km from Zakynthos town. The beach is almost 9km long with warm, shallow waters. It is also part of the National Water Park because the Careta - Careta turtles lay their eggs here. It is a fully organized beach providing for water sports, various beach bars, cafes and taverns.
