Chalkolimionas beach

The most important area of ancient mines
Almost 24 km south from Gavrio on the west coast of the island Chalkolimionas beach is found. The beach is at places sandy and at places pebbled with crystal clear and calm waters, as it is naturally protected from strong northern winds. Its name, meaning the port of brass in Greek, comes from the mines that operated there in the ancient years.
